This was our first Christmas at Rawdon. Mum had very little money and was working so hard at being an amazing single parent to me (Claire), Melissa and Roger. Mum so badly wanted us to have a Christmas tree. If you know my mum you know what a beautiful Christmas tree meant to her. So she got a very cheap, little, round 4ft tree, some ribbon, tinsel strands and a few clip on candles. All I can say is in true mum style it didn't look like a cheap little tree when she had finished and was truly one of my favourite and most beautiful trees. 
I was so lucky to have you as a mum and everything I am is because of you xx
